eaZIpart ACTIVATOR
Description
Description
An activator is a central component of a SOFT CLOSE unit. Its function is to activate the self-closing mechanism at a certain point in the movement. This usually happens when the door or drawer comes close to the end position.</p
Triggering the pull-in mechanism
Once contact is made, the integrated spring mechanism is tensioned. This provides the energy that pulls the door or drawer gently and in a controlled manner into the end position.</p
Cushioning and end position
While the activator triggers the mechanism, damping is activated at the same time, ensuring that the movement is gently slowed down to prevent a hard stop. The activator plays a key role in ensuring that the self-closing mechanism starts reliably and that the movement is slowed down comfortably and quietly.
Clean energy supply: Regional and CO2-free
The Zimmer Group relies entirely on CO2-neutral electricity sources. Part of the electricity comes from a nearby power plant, while the rest is generated from the company's own photovoltaic systems. The expansion of further solar modules is in full swing.
