(1) Under the contact details provided above for our Data Protection Officer, you may exercise the following rights at any time:

§ 3 Website Access

Every access to our website and every retrieval of a file stored on the website is logged. The data is stored for internal system-related purposes.

The following information is recorded:

• Date and time of access
• Requested URL
• Protocol used for the request (e.g. HTTP/1.1)
• Referrer (the website from which the request originated, e.g. Google)
• User agent (information about the browser, email program, etc.)

For security reasons, the IP address is also logged.

These log files are accessed only in the event of security incidents for the purpose of criminal prosecution. The retention period for these log files is 10 weeks.

No personal user profiles are created.

§ 7 Online Orders

(1) When placing an online order, you provide personal data that can be used to identify you, such as your first name, last name, address, telephone number and email address.

Private customers may place orders as a guest without creating a customer account or alternatively register for a password-protected customer account.

Business customers are required to create a customer account and register their company before placing an order.

The customer account provides an overview of completed orders and current order processes.

The operator accepts no liability for the misuse of passwords unless such misuse is attributable to the operator.

Where personal data (such as name, address or email address) is collected on our website, this is generally done on a voluntary basis wherever possible.

We use your personal data exclusively for the purpose of fulfilling the contract.

For the delivery of ordered goods, only the data required for shipping and order processing will be passed on to service providers (e.g. DHL).

Your personal data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required or no longer needs to be retained by law.

(2) We only transfer personal data to third parties where this is necessary for the execution of the contract, for example to the financial institution responsible for processing payments.

(3) Your data will not be disclosed beyond this unless you have expressly consented to such disclosure.

(1) We offer payment via PayPal on our website.

§ 9 Registration on this Website

(1) You may register on our website in order to use additional website functions.

The personal data entered during registration will be used solely for the purpose of providing the service or functionality for which you registered.

All mandatory information requested during registration must be provided in full. Otherwise, we may reject your registration.

(2) For important changes, such as changes to our services or technically necessary updates, we will use the email address provided during registration to inform you accordingly.

(3) The data entered during registration is processed on the basis of your consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by sending us an informal email.

The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

(1) Automated Decision-Making

We do not use automated processing, including profiling, that results in automated decision-making concerning you.

(2) Visable Analytics and Marketing Services

Zimmer GmbH Daempfungssysteme uses products and services provided by Visable GmbH (www.visable.com) for analytics and marketing purposes.

For this purpose, data is collected, processed, and stored using tracking pixel technology to create user profiles that are at least pseudonymized and, where possible and appropriate, fully anonymized.

The data collected, which may initially include personal data, is either transmitted to Visable or collected directly by Visable and used exclusively to create the user profiles described above.

Visitors to this website are not personally identified, nor is any other personal data combined with these user profiles.

If IP addresses are considered personal data, they are deleted immediately.

You may object to this type of data processing at any time with effect for the future by using the available opt-out option ("Exclude visitor tracking"). This opt-out sets a first-party cookie to prevent future tracking.

We make every reasonable technical and organizational effort to protect your personal data from unauthorized access by third parties.

However, complete data security cannot be guaranteed when communicating via unencrypted email.

For confidential information, we therefore recommend using postal mail.
